Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) North America includes over 64,000 individual members, 640 corporate members and over 450 non-profit organizations. HIMSS is positively transforming health and health care through the best use of information technology in the U.S. and Canada. Each year 40,000+ members gather at HIMSS Annual Conference and Exhibition to learn from world-class speakers, view cutting-edge health IT products and network with colleagues including health IT professionals, clinicians and global executives.
McKenna Design Group was selected to create a tagline and event signage recommendations that encompass all these aspects of healthcare information technology’s largest and most prestigious events in North America. We also proposed a redesign of the event logo and overall branding. The tagline “Where IT Connects Everything™” successfully embodies the spirit of this powerful industry event and “IT” relates to healthcare information technology. The proposed branding created a visual tie with the tagline demonstrating the dynamic ribbons connecting people, process and outcomes. Critical to this event are the connections made to help advance healthcare information technology. By sharing information and meeting new partners, HIMSS attendees are able to accelerate change to help save patients’ lives.
