BBC’s highest revenue producing show Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and “Captain Slow” James May return to TV under a new but not likely broadcaster, Amazon.
Streaming in 2016, Clarkson and crew will be led by executive producer Andy Wilman who also left the regaled BBC show. The entire team are thrilled at the opportunity to produce high quality, automotive programming unencumbered by advertising and network drama.
Go get ’em boys! But Jeremy, please we beg you — be kind to the staff. We want you on the air (and streaming) for years to come. Looking forward to the new series. Make it interactive and blow the doors off the new show!
Curious what they’ll name it. Top Gear, Fifth Gear, Can’t Find the Gear—something more creative. We hope.
