McClaren Tuxedo Quail

McLaren Dressed to the Nines at Quail.

Why transform a perfectly good McLaren MP4-12c into a boulevard bespoke? I overheard an undisclosed oil and gas tycoon had it custom built so visits to the opera were more — civilized. Hmm. Super car goes incognito to spiff up and put some starch in its collar.

Clad in automotive spats in the form of retooled fenders and concealed rear wheels (was that a nod to a 70’s Citroen D Special?), dressed in all black tails. The body’s shoulder line carries bright work that minimizes the width of this tamed exotic making it more upright and consequently formal.

I can hear the 13 speakers and the driver’s window narrowly open as it glides by.

Figaro, Figaro. Fiiiii-gaaaa-ro.

Bravo to that gentleman!
